A 15-minute walk from the centre of Bayreuth, this hostel is situated in the Frankengut district. It features a small cinema, sports facilities and a games room. The rooms at Jugendherberge Bayreuth are simply furnished, and most rooms offer shared bathroom facilities. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the Hostel Bayreuth breakfast room, and packed lunches can be made on request. Shared kitchen facilities are available. Guests enjoy use of the outdoor volleyball court, with the indoor games room offering a billiard table and table football. Free Wi-Fi is offered in public areas, and Kreuzsteinbad Outdoor Pool is a 5-minute walk away. The A9 motorway is 2 km from the hostel, and Bayreuth Train Station is 3 km away.

Please note that guests must be a member of the IYHF (International Youth Hostel Federation) or the German Youth Hostel Association. Membership is available on check-in. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22,50 per year.
