Featuring its own horse stables, a sports and fitness centre and a climbing wall, Sporthotel Bloemfontein is just a 10-minute walk from Borkum Spa Gardens and the sandy North Sea beach. Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.
